CDET Dance and Musical Theatre Conference
D&B School of Performing Arts will be attending a dance conference at the Hammond School in Chester and would love to meet with young students, teachers and parents who are looking into full time vocational training. We will be holding an audition technique class led by our Head of Jazz Jo Goodwin and will be on hand at our stand to answer questions about every aspect of training. The day will culminate in an exciting Musical Theatre Performance by some of our students.

Following the success of the Conference held in May 2015, CDET will host a Dance & Musical Theatre Careers Conference at The Hammond, Chester on:
Sunday 18th October 2015
10.00am – 5.30pm
A fantastic opportunity to attend a day packed with advice and information about training routes at CDET Accredited Schools.
Two bespoke strands will run independently through out the day:
Students will gain an insight into what it is like to audition for a vocational college, with mock audition classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre. There will be a seminar on making choices, tips for auditions and what to expect during training.
Parents / Guardians / Teachers will receive information on choosing schools, qualifications, courses and funding, applying & auditions and an insight into performing, teaching and other careers.

The Centre PAC, Masters Performing Arts, Laine Theatre Arts, London Studio Centre, KS Dance, Millennium Performing Arts, The Hammond, Northern Ballet School, Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama,Stella Mann College, Performers College, D & B School of Performing Arts, Liverpool Theatre School, CPA Studios, Urdang Academy, Italia Conti Arts Centre, LIPA, Cambridge Performing Arts and Bird College
The day will finish with an Accredited Schools performance in The Hammond Theatre
