Rob Knox Film Festival 2015

The Rob Knox Foundation is very close to the hearts of everyone here at D&B and last night the Rob Knox Film Festival celebrated it’s 5th year. This year Jamie Knox, graduate and Rob’s younger brother, hosted the ceremony while 1st year student Durone Stokes performed a few songs as part of the event. This year there were over 1000 entries into the competition with awards presented for Best Cinemetography, Directors, Editing, Actors and Actresses etc.

D&B School of Performing Arts has long been involved in the festival and in 2013 our Theatre School pupils Tom Selway and Ellie Dadd took home the best Actor and Actress rewards respectively for their parts in a charming short film Lipstick which was cast through D&B Management. Ex-pupil and Management client Jacqueline Jossa has presented awards in the past and graduates of the College have all performed at the festival.

If you have a short film that you would like to enter into the festival entries for next year open in October this year!

You could be our next rising star!
