CDET Conference a huge success

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend away in Chester promoting the College at the CDET Conference for Accreditted Dance Schools. As well as meeting a host of lovely students, parents and teachers from around Chester, we took a team of 10 students who performed alongside the other accredited colleges in a performance at the end of the day.

Our head of Jazz Jo Goodwin took a fantastic Musical Theatre audition technique class and we were really impressed by the callibre of young students in attendance. Whilst that was going on our students were given the amazing experience of a Q&A with David Grinrod, one of the UK’s most prominent and leading casting directors for Musical Theatre.

As expected, our wonderful team pulled it out of the bag and gave a stellar Musical Theatre ‘Dreamgirls’ performance choreographed by Jo. We couldn’t be prouder of our students and would like to thank the team at CDET for all of their hard work and organisation of such a great event.

We are already looking forward to the next one!
