EastEnders Welcomes Tilly Keeper

D&B Academy of Performing Arts is delighted to announce that Tilly Keeper has secured the part of Louise Mitchell, the daughter of Phil Mitchell and Lisa Fowler, in leading BBC soap, EastEnders – the fifth member of D&B to make it to the cast! Tilly, 18, joined D&B Theatre School when she was 4 years old taking ballet lessons, and by 7 had joined D&B’s Theatrical Agency getting her first job in pantomime.

“I just didn’t believe in a million years I would be in EastEnders. I am so thrilled to be joining the cast especially to be joining the Mitchell clan. It is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to get stuck into the role and see what lies in store for Louise. Someone once said to me that I needed to burst my dream bubble of being an actress, but D&B always believed in me. They have been such a large part of my life for so long – they are always there to offeradvice and support- I regard everyone there as my second family.”- Tilly

“We are thrilled for Tilly who is a really talented young actress whom we have had the pleasure of knowing and working with for 14 years. She has come a long way since her early days aged 4! And has an amazing future ahead of her in the Performing Arts. For us, it is particularly pleasingly that Tilly brings the number of D&B alumnae to five who we have helped secure roles in EastEnders including most recently 13 year old Eliot Carrington (Bobby Beale) and Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning) who won best newcomer at the NTA’s for the role. Everyone at D&B wishes Tilly all our best wishes and we will all be glued to our TVs to watch her debut appearance on 15th January.”- Bonnie
