An Evening of Drama 2022
We are super excited to be hosting an ‘Evening of Drama’ for a second year running as last year’s was such a success! At the start of the Autumn term, all our students had the opportunity to audition, and a selected group were chosen for either the Theatre or Screen Acting piece.
The scripts have been decided, and the screen acting cast have started filming their scenes on location with Director, Calum Callaghan, and Videographer, Jack Dalton. The theatre cast are due to start rehearsals with James when they come back after half term, giving them chance to be completely off book! The performance will be split into two acts, the first will be dedicated to the theatre pieces, and the second will be the screen acting whereby the scenes will be displayed on the big screen!
We have such a big emphasis on acting here at D&B, so we feel it’s super important to put on events like this to display their talent and give students the opportunity to put the skills they have learnt in their Screen and Theatre acting classes into practice!
